Prisoners Advisory Committee
Our students are a vital part of UBB. One part of the UBB model that sets us apart from other prison education programs is the level of involvement our students have in the operation of UBB. At the core of this student involvement is our Prisoners Advisory Committee, made up of 18 students who have demonstrated a commitment to higher education and the mission of UBB. The Prisoners Advisory Committee meets weekly with UBB staff to help us identify program needs, address student concerns, and ensure that our program remains closely linked to the needs of those we serve.
